Hibernian matches club record unbeaten streak after dominant victory against Dundee

Hibernian matched their club's unbeaten record of 17 consecutive games in the William Hill Premiership by defeating Dundee 4-0 and securing third place.

Rocky Bushiri scored the opening goal from a Martin Boyle corner in the 26th minute, followed by Kieron Bowie and Dwight Gayle adding two more goals. Bowie scored his second in the 84th minute, extending Hibernian's lead and breaking a record set in 1948.

The win also pushed David Gray's team three points ahead of Dundee United and Aberdeen. Meanwhile, Dundee are struggling to stay clear of the relegation play-off spot, remaining five points ahead of bottom side St Johnstone.

Hibernian dominated the game from the start, with Dundee struggling to keep up. Despite Dundee's attempts to fight back, Hibs continued to control the game.

The victory allows Hibernian to focus on securing a spot in European competitions, a turnaround from their poor performance at the start of the season. On the other hand, Dundee will need to show significant improvement in their fight for survival in the remaining five games.
