Southend managed to score a late goal to tie the game with Yeovil in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Huish Park, thanks to James Golding's impressive goal.
The Shrimpers took the lead in just 40 seconds as Charley Kendall found the net after a cross from Leon Chambers-Parillon.
Yeovil then took the lead with Kyrell Wilson's goal in the 14th minute, followed by Frank Nouble scoring at the back post for his third consecutive goal.
Southend almost equalized with Ben Goodliffe's header cleared off the line from a corner.
Despite Yeovil looking set to claim the victory and move ahead of Southend in the Vanarama National League standings, Golding's impressive 20-yard strike in stoppage time salvaged a point for the visitors.
