East Kilbride achieved promotion to Scottish League Two for the first time and relegated Bonnyrigg Rose following a goalless draw at New Dundas Park, resulting in the visitors winning 3-1 on aggregate.
Bonnyrigg goalkeeper Paddy Martin made a great save to deny a shot from Joao Balde in the 24th minute, as Aaron Arnott missed a chance for the home team by shooting over the bar.
Despite two opportunities for Kerr Young to score for Bonnyrigg in the second half, including a header hitting the crossbar and another saved by Chris Truesdale, they were unable to find the back of the net.
In the closing stages, East Kilbride's John Robertson failed to score with a late attempt as Mick Kennedy's Lowland League champions secured their promotion and sent Jonny Stewart's Bonnyrigg into relegation.
East Kilbride will now compete in the SPFL for the first time, while Bonnyrigg Rose face relegation after a three-season stint.
