Dagenham's National League future in jeopardy following draw in final fixture against Solihull

Dagenham faced relegation from the National League following a 1-1 draw at Solihull that resulted in their descent into the bottom four on an eventful final day.

The Daggers, who began the day in 20th place – with a one point advantage over Wealdstone – opened the scoring in the 32nd minute as Oscar Rutherford tapped in a rebound after Shiloh Remy's shot was saved.

Nevertheless, Solihull leveled the match with 15 minutes remaining through a header from Manny Duku at the near post from a corner kick.

Despite Dagenham pushing for a decisive goal in the closing stages, with Josh Umerah coming close in stoppage time, their hopes were dashed after Wealdstone secured a 3-1 victory over Halifax, confirming Dagenham's relegation.
