A late own goal by Will Wright secured a 1-0 victory for Bromley over Swindon, dashing Swindon's faint hopes of making it to the play-offs.
Danny Imray skillfully played the ball through Tom Nichols' legs along the side of the field and sent a powerful, low cross into the penalty area, which unfortunately ricocheted off the defender's shin into the net in the 88th minute.
By that point in the game, Swindon had pushed all their offensive players forward following Kabongo Tshimanga's missed penalty just before halftime.
Early in the match, Tshimanga had a close-range shot saved well by Bromley goalkeeper Grant Smith, with Imray's subsequent strong strike being parried by Connor Ripley, who then managed to tip a threatening header from Omar Sowunmi over the crossbar from a corner kick.
Following a foul by Adam Mayor on Paul Glatzel inside the box, Tshimanga took the penalty kick but his tame effort was comfortably saved by Smith.
In the second half, Sowunmi saw his header hit the crossbar, while Smith deflected a bouncing shot from Tom Nichols over the goal.
A diving header by Harry Smith was kept out by Smith before Swindon's substitute Joe Westley hit the post.
However, it was Imray who crushed the home team's hopes of reaching the play-offs with a decisive goal just two minutes before the final whistle.
