Reading stayed unbeaten in League One for an 11th consecutive game by comfortably defeating Peterborough 3-1 at the SCL Stadium.
The Royals took a 1-0 lead into halftime thanks to an early own goal by Posh captain Sam Hughes. They quickly extended their lead to 3-0 in the second half with goals from Harvey Knibbs and Charlie Savage.

Poku pulled one back for Peterborough with his 11th goal of the season, capitalizing on some poor defending by Reading. However, Peterborough goalkeeper Jed Steer made crucial saves to deny Andy Yiadom and Savage towards the end of the match.
