Fleetwood secure decisive victory over MK Dons after trailing initially

Fleetwood secured a 4-2 victory against MK Dons at Stadium MK after coming from behind.

The home team initially took the lead through Danilo Orsi, but Fleetwood turned the game around thanks to goals from Matty Virtue, James Bolton, Louis Marsh, and Owen Devonport.

Scott Hogan managed to score a late goal for MK Dons, but Fleetwood claimed their first win in four games comfortably.

MK Dons squandered a great opportunity early on when Dan Crowley's shot hit the crossbar. They eventually went ahead in the 27th minute when Orsi scored after Fleetwood failed to clear a cross from Crowley.

Fleetwood equalized just before half-time as Virtue found the back of the net from Shaun Rooney's delivery.

The Cod Army took the lead in the 49th minute when Bolton capitalized on a short corner to beat Connal Trueman with his shot.

In the 60th minute, Fleetwood extended their lead after a fast free-kick set up Marsh to score a well-taken goal.

Devonport added a fourth for Fleetwood after being set up by Rooney's cross, while Hogan's impressive volley from Laurence Maguire's long pass served as a late consolation for MK Dons.
