Plymouth High's Dominance Continues with Five-Goal Performance against Top-Form Millwall

Miron Muslic's team, Plymouth, followed their impressive performance in the FA Cup by convincingly defeating Millwall 5-1 and climbing out of the relegation zone in the Championship.

Ryan Hardie, the hero from the recent cup upset against Premier League leaders Liverpool, scored twice as Argyle put an end to Millwall's unbeaten streak of five matches.

Joe Bryan's own goal in the sixth minute kicked off the scoring spree, with Mustapha Bundu and Nikola Katic also finding the back of the net for the home team.

Muslic, the Plymouth manager, had to make three changes to the lineup that defeated Liverpool and earned a fifth-round match against Manchester City.

Despite the changes, Plymouth quickly took a 2-0 lead within the first 10 minutes of the game.

The first goal came when Callum Wright's cross led to an own goal by Millwall's Bryan.

Just four minutes later, a penalty was awarded as Casper De Norre fouled Plymouth's skipper Adam Randell, allowing Hardie to score his third successful penalty kick in as many matches.

Although Millwall responded with Ivanovic's header, forcing a save from Plymouth's goalkeeper Hazard, the visitors could not turn the game around.

Hardie nearly doubled his tally in the 41st minute with a powerful strike that narrowly missed the target.

In the 53rd minute, Bundu extended Plymouth's lead to 3-0 before Hardie added another goal just three minutes later.

Millwall managed to score a consolation goal in the 80th minute through Bryan, but Katic sealed Plymouth's victory with a fifth goal in the 86th minute.
