Bristol Rovers secure a last-minute draw against Stockport

Bristol Rovers saved a point in the dying moments of the game, preventing Stockport from achieving their sixth consecutive victory in Sky Bet League One with a 1-1 draw at the Memorial Stadium.

Sil Swinkels scored with a header from Matt Butcher's free-kick in stoppage time, marking Rovers' only significant shot on target.

Aston Villa loanee, Sil Swinkels, made his debut by equalizing Isaac Olaofe's goal in the 53rd minute.

Isaac Olaofe scored Stockport's only goal by converting a close-range chance created by Jack Diamond's cross and Kyle Wootton's redirection which hit the post before Olaofe tapped it in.

Rovers' goalkeeper, Jed Ward, who returned from a loan at Forest Green, made impressive saves in the first half to deny Stockport from scoring.

Jed Ward denied Will Collar's header and Kyle Wootton's close-range shot off Jack Diamond's cross in the first half.

Luke Thomas missed a good opportunity to score for Rovers in the first half with a header going just wide of the target.
