Stevenage triumvirate secure surprising win to halt Wrexham's home undefeated streak

A trio of Stevenage players who scored goals made sure of a 3-2 victory away at Wrexham, stopping the Red Dragons' 22-game unbeaten streak at home.

The away team went ahead early in the match after Arthur Okonkwo saved Jordan Roberts' shot, and Dan Kemp capitalized on the rebound to score from a short distance.

Jamie Reid scored a powerful goal from the edge of the box just before the 20th minute.

Kemp attempted a long-range shot just after the half-hour mark, but it went over the crossbar.

In the 55th minute, a corner kick found Ollie Rathbone in the penalty area. His deflected shot ended up with Paul Mullin at the far post, who headed the ball into the net.

Stevenage extended their lead with 20 minutes left on the clock when Kemp set up Jake Young for a close-range finish.

Late in the game, Elliot Lee delivered a free-kick into the box, and Max Cleworth rose highest to head the ball home, but Stevenage managed to hold on to secure the win.
