Dan Adu-Adjei secures draw for Carlisle against Bromley

Dan Adu-Adjei scored a last-minute goal to help Carlisle secure a 1-1 draw against Bromley at Hayes Lane.

The 19-year-old, who is on loan from Bournemouth, equalized after Michael Cheek had put the home side ahead. Bromley also had Lewis Leigh sent off during the match.

The first half was competitive but lacked clear goal-scoring opportunities. Carlisle goalkeeper Gabe Breeze made a crucial save by tipping Omar Sowunmi’s header over the crossbar.

In the second half, Dominic Sadi had a good chance but his shot was saved by Grant Smith in the Bromley goal.

Bromley took the lead in the 54th minute when Michael Cheek converted a penalty after Danny Imray was fouled in the box.

Despite going behind, Carlisle continued to push forward, with Adu-Adjei coming close to scoring on a few occasions.

Bromley were reduced to 10 men late in the game when Lewis Leigh was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle.

Carlisle capitalized on their numerical advantage and found the equalizer in stoppage time through Adu-Adjei's goal from a long throw-in.
