Harrison Burrows scored with almost the last kick of the match securing a 2-1 victory for Sheffield United against Bristol City at Ashton Gate in the Sky Bet Championship.
The hosts took the lead in the 75th minute, with Sinclair Armstrong being brought down in the box by Michael Cooper after receiving a through-ball from Max Bird.
Anis Mehmeti successfully converted the penalty kick, and despite Cooper diving the right way, the ball found the back of the net.
Sheffield United equalized in the 86th minute from a corner kick after City's goalkeeper, Max O’Leary, failed to deal with the ball properly. Ryan One capitalized on the defensive error and headed in the equalizer.
With only minutes left in stoppage time, Burrows sealed the win for Sheffield United with a well-placed left-footed shot past O’Leary.
City's unbeaten run of eight matches came to an end, and their woes were compounded by a red card shown to Rob Dickie for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity before Burrows' decisive goal.
City were forced into an early substitution with Mehmeti replacing the injured Mark Sykes.
The first half was uneventful until Nahki Wells' shot for City and Gustavo Hamer's attempt hitting the post for Sheffield United.
City made a change at the beginning of the second half, bringing on Armstrong for Wells, and continued to press for a goal.
Despite Sheffield United making multiple substitutions to inject energy into the game, City had the better chances, including a header from Jason Knight that struck the post.
Mehmeti came close to scoring again but was denied by Cooper's legs while McGuane tested the Sheffield United goalkeeper with a long-range strike.
After One's equalizer, Sheffield United pushed for the win, creating several opportunities before Burrows sealed the victory in dramatic fashion.
