Wealdstone secured their place in the Vanarama National League with a 3-1 victory over Halifax, lifting them out of the relegation zone on an intense final day of the season.
Starting the day behind Dagenham, the home team quickly took the lead as defender Jack Cook scored with a header from a corner kick in the opening four minutes.
Kallum Cesay then added a second goal with a tap-in, followed by a long-distance strike from midfielder Mustapha Carayol, giving Stones a comfortable lead going into half-time.
Although Halifax, already guaranteed a spot in the top seven, managed to equalize with a long-range goal from Luca Thomas just before the hour mark, Wealdstone held on in the final stages to move above Dagenham, who settled for a draw against Solihull.
