Falkirk made a comeback to the Scottish Premiership after 15 years by defeating Hamilton 3-1.
In order to secure promotion and the Championship title, The Bairns had to achieve the same result as Livingston.
Although faced with an early scare when Hamilton took the lead through Scott Robinson, Falkirk managed to equalise with a free-kick from Ethan Ross before half-time and took the lead with another goal in the 60th minute.
Calvin Miller sealed the victory with a goal 19 minutes before the end of the match.
Livingston missed their chance after Macaulay Tait's own-goal resulted in a 1-0 win for Partick Thistle, earning them the final play-off spot over Raith Rovers.
Despite the loss, Raith Rovers finished on a positive note with a 5-1 win against Queen’s Park, with goals from Lewis Vaughan, Callum Fordyce, Dylan Easton, and Aiden Marsh.
Meanwhile, Ayr United secured a 1-0 victory against Airdrieonians with a goal from Ben Dempsey, and Morton defeated Dunfermline 2-0 with goals from Owen Moffat and Grant Gillespie.
