Solihull Moors clinch victory with late goal against Boston United

James Clarke secured a dramatic victory for Solihull Moors with a late goal, overturning the scoreline twice to defeat Boston 3-2.

The defender scored with a header from Szhem Whyte-Hall’s long throw in added time, following Tahvon Campbell's goal that equalized the match earlier.

Campbell, who returned to the pitch after being sidelined for eight months due to injury, made a significant impact by scoring the equalizer from the penalty spot just 15 minutes after coming on as a substitute in the game.

Solihull's victory secured their safety in the league with a nine-point lead over 21st-placed Dagenham & Redbridge, with two games remaining, while Boston still find themselves in a precarious position despite a four-point cushion.

Boston took the lead twice in the match, with Zak Mills scoring in the second minute after Greg Sloggett's shot hit the post, only for Solihull to respond each time.

Jamey Osborne equalized with a volley shortly after, before Connor Teale restored Boston's lead just before half-time with his first goal since February.
