Burton climbed up the standings in Sky Bet League One after securing a 2-1 comeback win against Wigan.
Wigan scored first in the 32nd minute with a goal from Thelo Aasgaard.
The young player from Norway received an excellent pass from on-loan striker Dale Taylor and scored with his left foot.
However, Burton quickly equalized two minutes later when Rumarn Burrell capitalized on a cross from Owen Dodgson, which was initially saved by Sam Tickle. Jon Dadi Bodvarsson then scored his first goal for Burton from close range.
Early in the second half, Burton had a chance to take the lead, but JJ McKiernan's shot was blocked by Will Aimson after he cut inside Jason Kerr.
Just before the hour mark, Burton took the lead when Charlie Webster and Dodgson set up Burrell for his second goal of the match.
Wigan tried to level the score and came close when Taylor hit the post following a cross from Silko Thomas, but the rebound from Jon Mellish was cleared for a corner.
