In a season-ending match of the Vanarama National League, Aldershot and Sutton ended in a 1-1 tie.
Both teams were positioned in the middle of the table, so the game did not have much significance. However, Sutton kicked off strongly and applied pressure on Aldershot's goal.
Sutton took the lead with a goal from Lewis Simper at the 31st minute, shooting from the edge of the penalty area.
Aldershot managed to level the score 11 minutes into the second half. Josh Barrett capitalized on James Henry's pass and found the back of the net, hitting the inside of the post.
As time passed, Simper attempted a powerful shot over the crossbar for Sutton, but no more goals were scored in the match.
