West Ham secures draw against Tottenham with Jarrod Bowen's late goal

Jarrod Bowen saved a point for West Ham in a hard-fought 1-1 draw against a weakened Tottenham side at their home ground.

Bowen scored his 10th goal of the season in the Premier League to equalize after Wilson Odobert's first goal for Spurs.

Tottenham made eight changes to their starting lineup as they focused on the upcoming Europa League semi-final second leg against Bodo/Glimt in Norway.

Both teams seemed disinterested in the match, with West Ham enduring a disappointing season and Tottenham prioritizing other competitions.

The lack of excitement was evident from the numerous empty seats at the London Stadium, reflecting the indifferent atmosphere surrounding the club as they struggle under manager Graham Potter.

Despite the battle to avoid a low finish in the league standings, West Ham and Spurs remain in the bottom half of the table, with the latter facing their lowest finish since 1977.

There was a strange moment in the game when Lucas Paqueta appeared emotional after receiving a yellow card, with ongoing investigations into his conduct in previous matches.

Tottenham took the lead through Odobert following a defensive error by West Ham's Max Kilman, but Bowen equalized before halftime with a well-taken goal.

Both teams had chances to score in the second half, with Bowen coming close to scoring a second goal, but the match ultimately ended in a draw.
