Sheffield United increased the pressure on Burnley and Leeds by defeating Cardiff 2-0 at Bramall Lane on Good Friday.

Sheffield United took the lead in the 33rd minute through Gustavo Hamer, who cleverly scored after a deflected shot by Tyrese Campbell.
Ben Brereton Diaz almost doubled the lead with a free-kick that hit the post, while Cardiff couldn't find a way past Sheffield's defense despite some good attempts.
In the second half, Harrison Burrows was denied by Ethan Horvath before Brereton Diaz secured the victory in the 87th minute with another deflected goal.
Sheffield United are now just two points behind Leeds in the table, while Cardiff are in 23rd place, one point away from safety.
