Goalkeeper Paul Farman was outstanding as Barrow extended their unbeaten run to five league games with a 1-0 victory over promotion-chasing Port Vale.
Ben Jackson found the back of the net in the first half at Vale Park to secure the win.
Despite numerous missed opportunities, Darren Moore's team were unable to score and move into third place in the league standings.
Jackson opened the scoring in the 36th minute after his earlier shot over the bar, sending the ball past a crowd of defenders.
In the second half, Farman made crucial saves, including stopping a free-kick from substitute Lorent Tolaj and a shot from Swiss striker that hit the post.
Faman then made an impressive save to deny Jesse Debrah's header before Jayden Stockley struck the inside of the post with a header.
Shortly after, Ben Garrity's header hit the crossbar.
As the game neared its end, Farman made a fantastic double save to prevent Debrah from scoring and secure the victory.
