Karoy Anderson clinches victory for Charlton in thrilling comeback against Bolton

Karoy Anderson scored a crucial goal in the final minutes to secure Charlton's 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Bolton in League One.

Joel Randall found the back of the net for the first time since his recent transfer from Peterborough in the 55th minute, giving a moment of relief for the embattled manager Ian Evatt.

However, Lloyd Jones and Anderson managed to score two goals in the last 20 minutes, completely turning the match in Charlton's favor.

Randall scored his eighth goal of the season, with seven of them coming for Peterborough, with a simple tap-in from Aaron Collins' selfless pass.

Evatt's day started with an apology for using foul language while exiting the pitch at halftime during last Saturday's 2-2 draw against Cambridge.

Charlton's fortunes improved as they secured their first win in three league matches, as they mounted a comeback against Bolton.

Bolton's fans, who were already frustrated, vented their anger when Jones connected with Macauley Gillesphey's cross to score his second goal of the season with 19 minutes remaining.

Although Charlton had been outplayed until that point, they grew in confidence and Anderson's shot, which took a deflection, ensured an unexpected victory for the visitors in the 86th minute.
