Doncaster secured the top spot in League Two as Notts County had to settle for a spot in the play-offs after a 2-1 victory at Meadow Lane with goals from Rob Street.
Street scored the first goal from close range in the 19th minute following a blocked shot by Jordan Gibson which fell to him fortuitously.
He doubled the lead nine minutes later by controlling Jamie Sterry's high pass and then sprinting past Alex Bass to chip the ball into the net.
Despite Alassana Jatta scoring a goal in injury time for County, it was not enough to disrupt Rovers' celebration as they finished in sixth place.
Street had an opportunity to complete his hat-trick but his shot hit the post, and Bass made a crucial save from Zain Westbrooke in the closing moments.
County came close to equalizing right after Street's first goal, but Charlie Whitaker's header from Kellan Gordon's cross narrowly missed the target.
The home team, who could have secured automatic promotion with a win, also had chances for Gordon and Jodi Jones saved by Teddy Sharman-Lowe before halftime.
