Michael Cheek finishes impressive season with two goals in Bromley’s victory against Cheltenham

Michael Cheek, who had been recognized as the top player in League Two, scored twice in Bromley's 3-0 victory over Cheltenham.

Nicke Kabamba also found the net as the home team secured a win to finish their first EFL season in 11th position.

The match remained quiet for the first 25 minutes until Cheek made a significant impact.

Kabamba was brought down in the penalty area, leading to Cheek converting the resulting penalty kick past Joe Day.

Just before half-time, Kabamba scored from close range following a scramble in the box from a corner kick, making it 2-0.

Despite Liam Dulson testing Grant Smith after the break for Cheltenham, it was Cheek who sealed the victory with his 25th goal of the season, tapping in Cameron Congreve's cross.

Even though Ethon Archer hit the post for the visitors, Bromley comfortably managed to see out the game without much trouble.
