Stockport secures play-off spot by defeating Wycombe, set to play against Leyton Orient

Stockport finished their inaugural season back in League One in third position and are set to meet Leyton Orient in the play-offs following their 3-1 victory over Wycombe at Adams Park.

Garath McCleary gave the home team the lead, but Stockport goalkeeper Corey Addai denied Luke Leahy's penalty around the one-hour mark.

Stockport took advantage of the situation as Benony Andresson equalized with 20 minutes remaining, followed by goals from Oliver Norwood (penalty) and Will Collar in quick succession.

Wycombe went ahead in the 31st minute through Dan Udoh setting up McCleary for his first goal since January, before Stockport turned the game around after Addai saved Leahy's penalty.

Andresson scored his fourth goal of the season after joining in January, with Norwood converting a penalty and Collar sealing the victory with a strike nine minutes from time, securing Stockport's first win at Adams Park since April 2003.

Wycombe ended the season in fifth place and will face Charlton in the play-offs.
