Oldham ended a streak of three consecutive losses and cemented their position in fourth place in the National League by securing a 2-1 victory against Hartlepool.
Early in the game, the home team took control of the match with Vimal Yoganathan missing a shot, Tom Conlon failing to convert a header, and Charlie Raglan seeing his attempt cleared off the goal line.
Despite Oldham's dominance, it was Hartlepool who scored first in the 39th minute. Gary Madine's shot was initially saved, but Luke Charman played the rebound back into the box for Mani Dieseruvwe to score from close range.
However, Hartlepool's lead was short-lived as Raglan equalized just over a minute later with a header from a Conlon corner kick.
Oldham's striker Mike Fondop, previously with Hartlepool, secured the victory with a header in the 63rd minute.
