Chesterfield and Harrogate draw in goalless match

In a match with scarce scoring opportunities, Chesterfield and Harrogate played to a draw with neither team managing to find the back of the net.

Early in the game, Armando Dobra of Chesterfield made a run at the opposing defense but his shot was deflected, resulting in a corner kick.

Harrogate's Bryn Morris came close to scoring with a free-kick that was stopped by Chesterfield goalkeeper Ryan Boot.

In the second half, Boot was forced to make another important save, this time denying Morris from a free-kick.

Harrogate's goalkeeper James Belshaw made a crucial save to deny Chesterfield as he stopped Dobra's curling shot.

Chesterfield increased the pressure towards the end of the game, with Michael Olakigbe delivering a dangerous cross that narrowly missed its target.

Will Grigg, returning from a three-month injury lay-off, was unable to convert a header from a Liam Mandeville cross as Belshaw made a great save.

A late effort from James Grimes was blocked, while Mandeville's long-range shot missed the target.

Ryan Colclough, who came on as a substitute, had a shot saved by Belshaw before his fierce strike was deflected wide.

In stoppage time, Mandeville's corner kick struck the crossbar, denying Chesterfield a last-minute chance to snatch a victory.
