QPR secures fourth consecutive victory with win against Hull

QPR secured their fourth consecutive victory in the league by defeating Hull 2-1, bringing them closer to the Championship play-off positions.

Marti Cifuentes' team had to put in a solid effort to claim the win against Hull, who are currently struggling in the league.

After a quiet first half, Kenneth Paal opened the scoring for QPR in the 64th minute at the MKM Stadium.

Koki Saito then added a spectacular solo goal in the 70th minute, while Joe Gelhardt managed to pull one back for Hull towards the end of the match.

QPR now find themselves in ninth place, just four points behind the top six, while Hull, despite making four signings this month, are still battling relegation.

Fresh off their recent victory against Millwall, QPR faced a strong start from the home side in the early stages of the match.

Despite the challenging pitch conditions at the MKM Stadium, Hull created promising opportunities early on, with Steven Alzate and Harry Vaughan coming close to scoring within the first 10 minutes.

However, QPR grew into the game as the first half progressed, with Morgan Fox coming closest to scoring with a deflected shot that hit the post.

Regan Slater and Gelhardt also had chances for Hull, but it was QPR who eventually broke the deadlock with Paal's goal in the second half.

Saito then showcased his skill with a brilliant goal, securing QPR's lead and ultimately sealing the victory despite Gelhardt's late goal for Hull.
