Morecambe ended their time in Sky Bet League Two with a 2-1 loss against Harrogate on the final day.
After a string of six defeats, The Shrimps bid farewell to their 18-year Football League run, while Harrogate finished their season with a win.
Starting strongly, Morecambe took the lead in the 13th minute when Max Taylor headed in an Adam Lewis corner.
Harrogate quickly responded, scoring two goals in rapid succession.
In the 20th minute, Bryant Bilongo found the net from close range after Bryn Morris' shot was blocked and the ball fell to him in the box.
Two minutes later, Tom Cursons capitalized on a rebound from Ryan Schofield's save to give Harrogate the lead.
Despite a close-range effort from Jamie Stott, Morecambe couldn't equalize before half-time due to a great save by Mark Oxley.
The second half saw few chances created as Harrogate secured the victory.
