Barnet's title aspirations in the National League suffer setback with draw against Eastleigh

Barnet's struggle in their quest for the National League championship title continued with a 1-1 draw at their home ground against Eastleigh.

Having won nine consecutive matches until the end of March, Dean Brennan's team has now gone without a win in their last three outings. They had to equalize after falling behind to secure a point against Eastleigh.

Eastleigh took the lead in the 36th minute when Paul McCallum capitalized on a defensive error by Barnet. However, Danny Collinge equalized just before half-time by scoring from an Anthony Hartigan free-kick.

Goalkeeper Joe McDonnell made crucial saves to prevent a potential Eastleigh comeback, ensuring that Barnet remained four points ahead of second-placed York City when the final whistle blew.
