Alex Newby scored to draw Altrincham level with Tamworth in the last match of the National League regular season.
Tamworth took the lead through Ben Crompton in the 14th minute, coming close to scoring again as Munashe Sundire's shot hit the crossbar.
But Newby equalized shortly after the break, thanks to an assist from Lewis Banks, slotting the ball into the net.
With no more goals, both teams settled for a point each. As a result, Altrincham finished ninth in the season standings, edging out Tamworth on goal difference.
