A fantastic performance in the second half helped Luton boost their chances of avoiding relegation by defeating Bristol City 3-1 at Kenilworth Road, who are aiming for a spot in the play-offs.
Luton took the lead through Thelo Aasgaard, but George Tanner equalized for Bristol City before goals from Carlton Morris and Izzy Jones sealed the important win.
Initially, Bristol City looked stronger with Tanner almost scoring from outside the box early in the game.
Luton had their opportunities with Liam Walsh and Izzy Jones trying their luck, but it was Aasgaard's shot that was saved brilliantly by Max O'Leary.
Despite Bristol City's pressure, Luton almost scored through Mark McGuinness from a throw-in, but the chance went wide.
Aasgaard broke the deadlock with a fine goal in the second half, only for Bristol City to quickly equalize through Tanner.
Carlton Morris put Luton back in front before Izzy Jones extended their lead with a fantastic strike off the bar and post.
Although Bristol City pushed for a goal, they were denied by some good defending and goalkeeping from Luton.
The win means Luton are still in the relegation zone, but with consecutive victories during the Easter period, they are fighting hard to stay in the league.
