Annan secured a crucial victory with a impressive 5-1 triumph over Arbroath, who had already clinched the league title at Galabank.
Arbroath took the lead in the 17th minute thanks to a goal from Billy King, but Paul Smith equalised from a corner in the 31st minute. Tommy Muir then put Annan ahead after Willie Gibson's penalty was saved nine minutes later.
Muir extended their lead just after the hour mark and Luca Ross added two more goals late in the game. Annan suffered a setback when Aaron Brown was shown a red card for receiving two yellow cards in quick succession.

Meanwhile, Kelty Hearts are just four points clear of the relegation play-off spot following a 3-1 defeat at home to Queen of the South. Alloa kept themselves in contention for a top-four finish after a 1-1 draw against Cove Rangers.
