Alex Reid scored the solitary goal to help Wealdstone secure a crucial 1-0 victory over fellow National League strugglers Boston, allowing them to climb out of the relegation zone at the expense of their opponents.
The only goal of the match came in the 20th minute when Reid found the back of the net after a forward run, putting the ball past the goalkeeper.
Wealdstone's goalkeeper Dante Baptiste made an important save early in the game, stopping a powerful shot from Jai Rowe. Boston's Jordan Richards had a chance with a long-range shot that went over the crossbar. The Stones had an opportunity to double their lead, but Cameron Gregory denied Max Kretzschmar.
Baptiste continued to shine with a save from Jimmy Knowles' angled strike, while Boston missed a good chance when Jacob Hazel's shot went wide. Reid came close to scoring a second goal but his header from Kretzschmar's free-kick was off target.
