Ollie Pearce's spot-kick secures victory for York against Yeovil.

York put an end to a streak of two winless games with a 1-0 victory in the National League during their away match against Yeovil to maintain their push for promotion.

Josh Stones had the best chance to score in the first half, making a run forward and cutting inside onto his left foot, but the Glovers' defense managed to block his shot.

After the break, Brett McGavin missed narrowly for the hosts before York was given a penalty in the 56th minute for a foul on Joe Felix in the box.

Ollie Pearce calmly converted the penalty for his 23rd goal of the season, securing the win for York who then comfortably held on to claim the three points.
