York, who are in second place, finished their regular season in the National League with a 2-0 win against Eastleigh.
The match was practically decided within the first 20 minutes. Ollie Pearce scored his 31st goal of the season in the league after 16 minutes, tapping in a cross from Lewis Richardson on the right. Cam John then swiftly added a second goal by dribbling past Joe McDonnell in the Eastleigh goal and putting the ball into the net.
This victory stretched York's unbeaten streak to eight games as they now get ready for a play-off semi-final at home, aiming to secure a spot in the EFL alongside Barnet.
Eastleigh finished the season in 13th position in the league standings.
