Blackpool extended their streak of home league draws to seven matches following a deadlock with Rotherham.
Steve Bruce’s team started strong, with loanee winger Sammy Silvera from Middlesbrough testing Rotherham goalkeeper Dillon Phillips with two distant shots.
Just before the break, striker Jake Beesley missed a great opportunity to score when he failed to hit the target from close range after a corner from Albie Morgan.
Rotherham improved in the second half and had a good chance to score through Jordan Hugill, but he put the ball over the net from Joe Powell’s cross.
Steve Bruce made a tactical change by bringing on winger Rob Apter, who provided pace and created the final opportunity of the game.
Apter passed to midfielder Lee Evans, but Phillips made a crucial save in stoppage time, securing a point for Rotherham.
With this result, Rotherham climbed to 14th place, while Blackpool still hasn't won a home league game since defeating Burton in September.
