However, Rodri equalized for Spain just before halftime, and Fabian Ruiz gave them the lead early in the second half. Nico Williams and substitute Dani Olmo sealed the win with late goals.
Despite Georgia's spirited counter-attacking style of play, they were unable to hold off Spain, who dominated the match from the beginning. Spain launched continuous attacks, with several attempts on goal saved by Georgia's goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
